Return on Mission™ starts here
Your solar project should fund your mission. Most don't.
Most energy projects end the day the system turns on. The contractor moves on, the savings disappear into the general fund, and the story that should have been told never gets told.
Elevated Energy designs, develops, and manages solar projects built around your mission, from the first conversation through decades of impact reporting.
The problem
Here's what most nonprofits don't know about their solar project.
A 25-year solar asset is one of the most complex investments your organization will ever make. But most contractors treat it like a construction job. They build it, commission it, and hand you the keys.
Performance goes unmeasured. Maintenance gets deferred. Savings quietly disappear. And a project that should have created generational impact slowly becomes a liability.
That's not a solar problem. It's a partnership problem.
Our solution
We build mission infrastructure, powered by solar.
Elevated Energy is not a solar contractor. We're a mission-aligned energy development partner. We start with your mission and stay with you for the life of the project.
That means we structure your project to maximize funding, manage construction from permitting through commissioning, and then translate your ongoing savings into mission outcomes you can actually share.
We call this turning Energy into Impact™.
Why we're different
Three things separate us from every contractor in this space.
We design around your mission.
Most developers build what the funding allows. We structure the funding to match what the mission requires.
We stay.
Most contractors finish and move on. We manage your project, measure your outcomes, and report your impact for the full 25-year lifecycle.
We quantify the invisible.
Your savings become a measurable Return on Mission™ story your board can approve, donors can champion, and community can see.

Authority
Built from 10 years of doing this work the right way.
Elevated Energy grew out of Perrysburg Energy, which Scott Thompson founded in 2016 to solve a simple problem: nonprofit clients needed one accountable partner, not a rotating cast of vendors.
Molly Thompson joined to build the strategy, the story, and the systems that would turn a contracting company into something more. Together, they bring decades of experience across construction, engineering, project development, and mission-driven strategy.
Elevated Energy exists because the standard wasn't high enough. It still isn't. We're here to raise it.

Your mission deserves more than a utility bill reduction.
If you're a nonprofit leader thinking about solar, or already in the middle of a project that feels transactional, let's talk. A 30-minute conversation is enough to show you what a mission-first approach actually looks like.
